Come Join Bat Biologist Bernice Tannenbaum at Kittitas Environmental Education Network (KEEN) for the 26th annual Get Intimate with the Shrub-Steppe (GISS)—a community event celebrating the rare and endangered shrub-steppe habitat of Central Washington. On Saturday, come by our table, which is one of the Hands-on Science Booths at the Yakima Canyon Interpretive Center from 9:00AM-1:00PM, especially if you have any specific Bat questions perhaps you had been lucky enough to have spotted a bat the night before.
